the most astounding fact about the universe

What is the most astounding fact about the universe?

It’s a crazy question. One that stirs something deep inside of us. Unlocking within us one of the most human of all emotions – wonder.

That question was posed to Astrophysicist Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson by a reader of TIME magazine, “What is the most astounding fact you can share with us about the Universe?”

Below you’ll find his answer. Continue Reading…

Can people changeCan People Really Change?

“It’s only on the brink that people find the will to change. Only at the precipice do we evolve.” Professor Barnhardt ~ The Day The Earth Stood Still

I watched a TV special about a hooker the other night.

Four forcesThe Four Forces That Guide Us

Paulo Coelho, the best selling author of the Alchemist, and one of my greatest inspirations, believes that there are four forces that guide us through our lives.

Creating Opportunity“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” ~ Mark Twain

Don’t look back at your life and think about what could have been. Get out there and create what can be now.

Life’s a beta test. Not a finished product.

At the half way mark she stopped singing and looked at the crowd and said, “I wish!” Even Sarah Mclachlan who’s written tons of brilliant songs still has these very same moments.

So there I was, frozen in time, as if the whole universe had come together perfectly to send me a message. A soft little whisper telling me exactly what I needed to hear.

That everything will be fine. Continue Reading…
