Law of Attraction Tip – Part 1

This is Part One of Ten in a Law of Attraction Series that will be completed over the next couple of weeks.

10 Law of Attraction Tips

1. It’s OK to want, to be and to have more.
   The Universe seeks expression. That expression happens through you. Like Marianne Wilson said, “Your playing small does not serve the world.” It’s your dreams and accomplishments that inspire others to try to share the best of themselves with the world.
2. Don’t worry so much about the how.
   Just begin to take action now. What is one small step that you can take right now that’ll move you closer to your goal?
3. Get in alignment with your desires by being it now.
   You want to be rich then start respecting the laws of money. You want to attract your soul mate then start to be lovable now. You want a new job well be grateful for the one you have now.
4. Alignment is done through harmony.
   Your thoughts, words and action create that harmony. Listen to how you speak. Pay attention to how you act. And notice that type of inner chatter that’s happening within your mind now.
5. Go-givers get more.
   Nature is always giving of herself. She works from a place of abundance. Knowing well that there will always be more. So what have you given today?
6. The Universe will conspire in your favor.
   The more you come into vibrational alignment with your desire the more “coincidences” you’ll encounter. Act on those moments.
7. Desire is the fuel to move you to your goal.
   If your dream or goal doesn’t inspire you then when the going gets tough you’ll give up on those dreams. So make sure that you’re really revved up about what you’re going for.
   
8. Energy needs to be focused to be effective.
   Don’t try to do ten things at once. What is the most important thing that you can do today that will move you closer to your dream?
9. Getting clear on what you want sets the Law of Attraction in motion.
   If you don’t know where to go then the energy won’t know where to flow.
10. Allow yourself to dream.
    Don’t let the past determine your future. Now is the bouncing off place for so much more. The past lead you to this moment and it’s in this moment that you can guide yourself toward your future.

Mastering the law of attraction takes practice. It’s not like were taught about the law of attraction in school. It’s something that we stumble upon when we’re ready. Or it’s a power we discover through insight. Or we’re taught the law of attraction through a friend,  a book or movie.

However you’ve come to know the law of attraction in your life the truth is we usually need a little help with it at first. Some tips and tricks to get in the flow of co-creating.

Here are 4 tips to help you manifest your desires with the law of attraction:

1. Get Clear
   Get clear on what it is that you really want to attract into your life. Determine exactly what it is. We tend to work from a place of knowing to clearly what we don’t want. Turn that around and discover what you DO want.
2. Do It Daily
   After you’ve gotten clear and what it is that you want to manifest using the law of attraction you can’t just think about it once and be done with it. You’ve got to vision it daily. The more you focus on what it is you want you create a field around you that get’s stronger and stronger.
3. Act As If
   Acting as if energizes your field of influence. The reality you’re trying to create externally has already been created internally. An alignment happens. This then draws into your life the people and opportunities you need to manifest your dreams.
4. Take Action
   Start to take action now. And be ready to pounce on opportunities when they arise. Don’t be blind about it though. Be wise and use your intuition so that you’re not making rash decisions. But don’t let fear paralyze you from moving forward.

Good Luck

“I’m a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it.”

~ Thomas Jefferson

So what does it mean to be lucky? Or what has happened when we run into a string of good luck?

I think the quote above by Thomas Jefferson can give us a couple clues on the subject of good luck and how we can draw more of it into our lives.

First of all is believing in luck or believing that you are actually a lucky person is the start of the process. Another way of saying this in Law of Attraction terms is to believe that the universe will and does conspire in your favor. That whatever it is you hold within your mind with a feeling of completion shall eventually be yours.

The second part is revealed in Jefferson’s statement about doing the work necessary to draw the luck into our lives. “I find the harder I work the more I have of it.”

This is where a lot of the Law of Attraction books fall short. They don’t mention the sweat that’s needed on our part. We need to do what we can with the resources that we have to set the universal energies in motion.

Sitting around just “thinking” about the dreams we want to manifest is just day dreaming. But if we go about our days believing in luck, that the resources or opportunities needed will be drawn into our field of awareness, and then if we set ourselves to the task of getting “out there” and doing what we can in the physical world we then have truly unleashed a magnificent power within our lives.

So is there really such a thing called luck? Or should we begin to think now in terms of alignment and co-operation. We do what we can and the universe can do the rest.

We can then start to see that being lucky is really a partnership that we enter into. So if you’re looking for a lucky break in your life believe that it will come then do what you can to open yourself up to the possibilities that are out there waiting for you.

Utilizing The Law of Attraction

The law of attraction states that you will attract into your life–whether wanted or unwanted–whatever you give your energy, focus, and attention to.

You are constantly giving off vibrations of energy when you think and feel. These vibrations can be picked up and received by other people. That’s why people say, “he has good vibes,” or “he gives off bad vibes.” You are constantly giving off vibrations — literally!

If you’re feeling excited, enthusiastic, passionate, happy, joyful, loving, appreciative, abundant, prosperous, relaxed and peaceful, you are giving off positive vibrations.

On the other hand, if you’re feeling bored, anxious, worried, confused, sad, lonely, hurt, angry, resentful, guilty, disappointed, frustrated, overwhelmed, stressed out, or depressed, then you are giving off negative vibrations.

The law of attraction states that the universe responds to whatever you are offering — by giving you more of whatever you are vibrating. It doesn’t care whether it is good for you or not; it simply responds to your vibration.

If you saw the film The Secret, you saw this explained in great detail.

The problem is that most of the time, you are not aware of what vibration you are offering. You are simply responding to things outside of you–current events, the news, how people treat you, the stock market, how much money you are making, how your children are doing in school, whether or not your favorite sports team wins–and then having a feeling that is either positive or negative.

When you are simply responding unconsciously to what happens around you, you tend to stay “stuck” in your current condition. This is why most people’s lives never seem to change very much. They get stuck in a repeating cycle of recreating the same reality over and over by the vibration they are sending out.

It works like this… First you observe what you currently have and are currently receiving in your life. You call this your “reality.” You respond to what you observe with a feeling, positive or negative, which then gives off that vibration to the universe. The law of attraction then responds to this vibration and brings you more of what you were vibrating. This keeps the cycle going over and over, until you choose to change it through the exertion of your will. You are a victim of your lack of awareness of the law of attraction.

The Process of Intentional Creation

It is possible to get out of this vicious cycle and create what you want instead of continually recreating what you already have. It is a simple, three-step process that you can begin immediately.

If you’ve been implementing the action steps I coach you through in The KEY to Living the Law of Attraction, you have already begun this process.

Step 1: Identify what you truly desire & eliminate the negative

It is important to focus on what you want rather than what you don’t want. You must state it in the positive and filter out the words don’t, not and no. Remember, your mind works in pictures and if you say I don’t want to be mad, you are creating the picture and thus the vibration of being mad. You must create the opposite of what you don’t want.

Step 2: Raise your vibration level

Your job in stage two is to create a vibrational match for that which you say you want to have. How would you be feeling if you already had those things–the perfect job, the perfect relationship, the amount of money that you want to have?

Your job is to identify what makes you feel good and do more of it, then learn not to tolerate your negative feelings.

Affirmations are an important component in raising your vibrational level to what it is you want. Remember, the law of attraction does not respond to the words you use or the thoughts you think. It simply responds to how you feel about what you say and how you feel about what you think.

For information on how to create even more effective affirmations, review chapter 10 in The Key to Living the Law of Attraction, where you’ll find my guidelines for creating effective visualizations.

Step 3. Release it and allow it.

In this third step, you simply release your affirmation, your vibration, and your feelings to the universe to take care of your “request” or “order” as I call it. But you have to abstain from any doubts. If you doubt you can have it in any way, then you are not allowing it. You are pushing it away and you end up with contradictory messages to the universe.

It is only when the contradictory thoughts, talk, and images are removed that your desired results will manifest. The faster you remove your resistance, the faster your dreams can be realized.

Combining The Law of Attraction & The Golden Rule

Most people nowadays know of the Golden Rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Below you’ll find this statement interpreted all throughout the ages through all the major spiritual traditions of the world.

But for now lets look at how we can combine the Law of Attraction and the Golden Rule to get some amazing results.

The Law of Attraction can be explained as, “Like attracts like.” or “What you think about you bring about.” or “The vibrational output that you resonate with will draw to you like frequencies.”

The Law of Attraction applies to more than our thoughts. The Law of Attraction applies to:

• Our thoughts
• Our words
• Our actions
• Our emotional set-point

But what if we see the world as nothing other than a reflection ourselves. So that when we see another person, we when speak to them, or when we do something for them, in truth, we set the Law of Attraction in motion and we truly are effecting our own lives.

Then we’ll have no separation. Then we can apply the Law of Attraction & The Golden Rule in a new creative way. We can use the power of expressing ourselves within the world not only to benefit each other but for the ultimate purpose of benefiting ourselves.

The Law of Attraction & The Golden Rule Applied:

• If you want more money in your life then share the money you have.
• If you want more support then be supportive.
• If you want friendship then be a friend.
• If you want love then share your love with everyone you meet.

When we combine the Law of Attraction and the Golden Rule we unleash a power unimaginable to our everyday consciousness.

It becomes a serving-selfishness mindset. Now I’m not advocating running around doing things for others with the sole expectation of receiving something in return. Now that is selfish.

What I’m saying is that we need to free ourselves from the limitations we set for ourselves through fear and lack. So behind the outward appearance of the service you do for others you know that you are tapped into the ultimate source of all existence. A place that is bountiful and abundant. That wishes good things for you. And that will replenish for you anything that you’ve given away with love.

So be wise and know that, “As you share with others you have truly shared with yourself.”

I becomes we and we are connected to eternity.

The Trace Back Process

It’s been said that we live in a dream world. That we’re surrounded by dreams. In the Kyballion the Three Initiates say that ALL IS MIND. But have we ever stopped to think about this?

Even the Buddha said, “We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts we make the world.”

So this is a little round about way or experiment to help us realize the power that we have…

The Trace Back Process Experiment

You’re in front of a computer, reading these words.

Question: Where did the computer come from?

Answer: From the store and the store got it from the manufacturer. The creator of the computer.

Q: Where did the creator get the computer from?

A: The creator had an idea for a computer, designed it in detail and then created it. So the computer came from an idea in the Creators mind.

Q: What else is near you?

A: A coffee cup.

Q: So where did the cup come from?

A: It was a gift from my father in law. He bought it in a store and the store bought it from a wholesaler. The wholesaler bought it from its creator.

Q: So where did the creator get it from?

A: The creator had an inspirational idea for a coffee cup, designed it in detail, and then created it. So it came from an idea within the Creator’s mind.

Now look around you and whatever your eye falls upon ask yourself, “Where did this come from?” Let yourself trace it back. Practice this process several time this week.

Is the following statement true and in accordance with what you have learned?

BEHIND ALL THAT IS VISIBLE, THERE IS THE INVISIBLE POWER OF THE MIND.

Become A Co-Creator of Creation

There is one Awesome Power flowing through all the Universe. It penetrates and permeates both the seen and unseen realms. It is a power for good that is ever present and calls us always to our own divine glory. I call this power Spirit, Creator, the Source.

I know now that I am always one with this power. Forever together in a bond of boundlessness. I know this amazing Spirit works for me because is works through me. And I know that I am truly blessed, for I have been given dominion over my own life and have received the gift of free will.

I accept this gift now.

I open myself to the divine flow of Spirit. I can feel the confidence of my creator wash over me and find myself at ease in this moment. A new certainty comes over me as I know and feel that the universe responds to my command. I shall but say the word and mountains shall move. I shall steer my thoughts to splendor and I will be clothed in garments of light. I dream a dream and know well that it is a reality.

In this magnificent moment I call out to the Infinite Spirit that flows through me and all the Universe and I give thanks for the blessing I call my life. I honor this sacred gift and choose now to create a world worthy of me, my children and all of humanity. I am filled with courage to pursue my dreams. I am filled with the power to make those dreams a reality. I am an infinite Child Of God and I bow down in deep reverence to the miracle of life itself.

Knowing well that my words are full of power and light I release them to the Universal Law of life. I am certain that as I have said it so shall it be.

And so it is.

The Lazy Person’s Guide To Wealth

Do you want to know an easy way to be wealthy? Of course you do. Who doesn’t. That’s why there’s all those get rich quick schemes within the world. We’re all looking for happiness. And we all are a little bit lazy, that’s why we spring at the chance to make a quick buck. But alas those get rich quick schemes never work.

But I have a solution!

And no you don’t have to send away for my special ten week course, jam packed with secret tips, discovered 2000 years ago. And no you don’t have to work hard, slaving at your desk to the wee hours of the morning.

All you have to do is go to sleep.

No really. It’s totally easy.

It’s supposed to be easy. Nature doesn’t struggle to be abundant. That’s because Ole Mother Nature knows her truth. Which is abundance. And guess what? Abundance is woven into the very fibre of our being. All we have to do is to remember that. Be easy about it.

So what’s all this talk about sleep & grow rich?

Well have you ever noticed that you may doing your affirmations like, “I am wealthy.” or “I am rich.” or “I am abundant.” but nothing is happening. Maybe even things are getting worse in your financial affairs.

Well the problem is that pesky, conscious mind of ours.

We’re trying to plant these abundant seeds into our fertile subconscious mind, which is ready and willing to nurture those seeds and turn them into money trees, but our conscious mind keeps digging them up.

The conscious mind looks around at your life and keeps screaming at you saying that “Your lying.”

Well, the way around that little monkey mind of ours is not to focus on ourselves but try just focussing on the concept.

• Just focus on wealth.
• Turn your thoughts towards images of wealth.
• Generate a feeling of wealth.

Both your conscious and subconcious minds will be OK with that. The conscious mind will find no fault in that line of thinking and will let pass those wealth seeds. They’ll be planted into your subconscious mind.

And since your subconscious mind is in oneness with all of existence the law of attraction will draw into your life abundance beyond your wildest dreams.

The money trees will start to grow.

The best time to do this is just as your going to sleep.

See, I told you it would be easy. It’s supposed to be.

Be wealthy.

Recently the power of focus and the law of attraction has been a key driving force in my life. Daily I’m reminded to keep focused on my goals and to use my gifts as creative expressions in my life.

Even to show me what I’ve been out picturing in my life and holding as a resonant frequency my daughter has begun to become effected by my thoughts.

She has shown me what it’s like to set the law of attraction in motion and then to suddenly change your mind.

She’ll ask for something like cereal and I’ll get up and go make it for her and then she’ll change her mind and not want it. She’ll ask for a glass of soy milk so I’ll go get it for her and before I start pouring it she’ll change her mind. Over and over this was happening.

Then just the other day it hit me, “This is what I’m doing with my life.” I thought to myself.

I’ll start something and then abruptly change my mind. I’ll set the power of the law of attraction in motion and just as the ball starts rolling in my life I’ll change my mind. Effectively getting me no-where and just frustrating all those people in my life who are hoping for my best and want to see me succeed.

Focus & the Law Of Attraction

Well this has all changed now. Daily I focus in on my targeted goals and anything that does not bring me closer to them get’s dropped out of my life.

Over the last few weeks, my life has become like a laser as I focus in on my chief goal, and do everything in my life to bring that dream into reality.

I’m becoming focused and as a result of that focus my power has increased 100 fold and the Law of Attraction has kicked into overdrive into my life.

So this process that has unfolded in my life has reminded of a concept that I first read in Jim Collins’ amazing book Good To Great.

In it he proposes that there are two types of companies, hedgehogs or foxes, and it’s the hedgehogs that move to ultimate success, blowing there competition out of the water.

The Law of Attraction – Are You A Hedgehog of A Fox?

In his famous essay “The Hedgehog and the Fox,” Isaiah Berlin divided the world into hedgehogs and foxes, based upon an ancient Greek parable: “The fox knows many things, but the hedgehog knows one big thing.”

Are You a Hedgehog or a Fox?
Chapter 5, pages 90–91

The fox is a cunning creature, able to devise a myriad of complex strategies for sneak attacks upon the hedgehog. Day in and day out, the fox circles around the hedgehog’s den, waiting for the perfect moment to pounce. Fast, sleek, beautiful, fleet of foot, and crafty—the fox looks like the sure winner. The hedgehog, on the other hand, is a dowdier creature, looking like a genetic mix-up between a porcupine and a small armadillo. He waddles along, going about his simple day, searching for lunch and taking care of his home.

The fox waits in cunning silence at the juncture in the trail. The hedgehog, minding his own business, wanders right into the path of the fox. “Aha, I’ve got you now!” thinks the fox. He leaps out, bounding across the ground, lightning fast. The little hedgehog, sensing danger, looks up and thinks, “Here we go again. Will he ever learn?” Rolling up into a perfect little ball, the hedgehog becomes a sphere of sharp spikes, pointing outward in all directions. The fox, bounding toward his prey, sees the hedgehog defense and calls off the attack. Retreating back to the forest, the fox begins to calculate a new line of attack. Each day, some version of this battle between the hedgehog and the fox takes place, and despite the greater cunning of the fox, the hedgehog always wins.

Berlin extrapolated from this little parable to divide people into two basic groups: foxes and hedgehogs. Foxes pursue many ends at the same time and see the world in all its complexity. They are “scattered or diffused, moving on many levels,” says Berlin, never integrating their thinking into one overall concept or unifying vision.

Hedgehogs, on the other hand, simplify a complex world into a single organizing idea, a basic principle or concept that unifies and guides everything. It doesn’t matter how complex the world, a hedgehog reduces all challenges and dilemmas to simple—indeed almost simplistic—hedgehog ideas. For a hedgehog, anything that does not somehow relate to the hedgehog idea holds no relevance.

Princeton professor Marvin Bressler pointed out the power of the hedgehog during one of our long conversations: “You want to know what separates those who make the biggest impact from all the others who are just as smart? They’re hedgehogs.” Freud and the unconscious, Darwin and natural selection, Marx and class struggle, Einstein and relativity, Adam Smith and division of labor—they were all hedgehogs. They took a complex world and simplified it. “Those who leave the biggest footprints,” said Bressler, “have thousands calling after them, ‘Good idea, but you went too far!’ ”³

To be clear, hedgehogs are not stupid. Quite the contrary. They understand that the essence of profound insight is simplicity. What could be more simple than e = mc2? What could be simpler than the idea of the unconscious, organized into an id, ego, and superego?
