Sometimes all we need to do to discover happiness it to relax.

Joy BombThe Explosive Power of Joy

“May your walls know joy; May every room hold laughter and every window open to great possibility.”
~ Maryanne Radmacher-Hershey

After slathering SPF 30 sunscreen all over my kids and myself we headed out to the park.

It was a scorcher outside so we decided to go to the “Teeny Tiny Park” which is both teeny and tiny. But what it lacks in size it sure makes up in shade.

And even though it’s small my kids love it. They can play there for hours.

Zipping up and down the slide, going on “adventures” through the bushes, and getting “rocket blasts” on the swings.

On the swings is where this story unfolds… Continue Reading…

Utilizing The Law of Attraction

by Jack Canfield

The law of attraction states that you will attract into your life–whether wanted or unwanted–whatever you give your energy, focus, and attention to.

You are constantly giving off vibrations of energy when you think and feel. These vibrations can be picked up and received by other people. That’s why people say, “he has good vibes,” or “he gives off bad vibes.” You are constantly giving off vibrations — literally!

If you’re feeling excited, enthusiastic, passionate, happy, joyful, loving, appreciative, abundant, prosperous, relaxed and peaceful, you are giving off positive vibrations.

Existence is the question, your life is the answer.

The Call Of The New Paradigm

© Ian Paul Marshall

I give thanks for this precious moment,
This chance to be alive.
For life is sacred, special, and a fragile thing.

Realizing that it may end at any moment
I give thanks for all that I have
And strive to live each day to the fullest.

I have come to realize the power that is within me.
That my former thoughts, words and actions
Became my present state
And right now, in this moment, I’m creating my future.

Embrace Yourself, Express Yourself, Love Yourself, Heal Yourself

“You are here because this existence needs you as you are. Otherwise somebody else would have been here! – the existence would not have helped you to be here, would not have created you. You are fulfilling something very essential, something very fundamental, AS YOU ARE.

To Renounce or Not Renounce

That was the question posed to the great Ramana Maharshi…

Ramana Maharshi – The life of action need not be Renounced

Question : The yogis say that one must renounce this world and go off into secluded jungles if one wishes to find the truth.
Ramana Maharshi:
The life of action need not be renounced. If you meditate for an hour or two every day you can then carry on with your duties. If you meditate in the right manner then the current of mind induced will continue to flow even in the midst of your work. It is as though there were two ways of expressing the same idea; the same line which you take in meditation will be expressed in your activities Continue Reading…

The Cathar Prophecy

The Prophecy of the Cathars 1244

And the Cathars proclaimed that…

It has no fabric, only understanding.
It has no membership save those who know they belong.
It has no rivals, because it is non-competitive.
It has no ambition, because it only seeks to serve.
It knows of no boundaries, for nationalisms are unloving.
It is not of itself, because it seeks to enrich all groups and religions
It acknowledges all great teachers of all the ages who have shown the truth of love.
Those who participate practice the truth of love in all their beings.
There is no walk of life or nationality that is a barrier. Those who are, know.
It seeks not to teach, but to be – and by being, enrich. It recognizes that the way we are may be the way of those around us, because we are that way.
It recognizes the whole planet as a being of which we are a part.
It recognizes that the time has come for the supreme transition, the ultimate alchemical act of conscious change of the ego into the voluntary return to the whole.
It does not proclaim itself with a loud voice but in the subtle realms of loving.
It salutes all those in the past who have blazoned the path but have paid the price.
It admits no hierarchy or structure, for no one is greater than another.
The members shall know each other by their deeds, and their being, and by their eyes and by no other sign save the fraternal embrace.
Each one will dedicate their life to the silent loving of their neighbor and environment and our world, while carrying out their daily task, no matter how humble.
It recognizes the supremacy of the great ideal, which may only be accomplished if the human race practices the supremacy of Love.
It has no reward to offer, either here or in the hereafter, save that of the ineffable joy of being and loving.
Each shall seek to advance the cause of understanding, doing good by stealth and teaching only by example.
They shall heal their neighbor, their community and their world.
They shall know no fear and feel no shame and their witness shall prevail over all odds.
It has no secret, no Arcanum, no initiation, save that of true understanding of the power of love and that, if we want to be so, the world will change if we change ourselves first.
All those who belong, do so because they belong to the Church of Love.

Joy Day

Ian Marshall —  May 6, 2009 — 1 Comment

“Joy is a net of love by which you can catch souls. A joyful heart is the inevitable result of a heart burning with love.” Mother Teresa

The times we’re in are magical and joyous times. Once again we will reclaim our innocence, a wide eyed wonderment that is amazed with life. A meditation that moves us to dance. For within that moment we have found our fullness, a wellspring of joy that seeks expression, a feeling that wants to burst free.

And once we have poured forth our joy and emptied ourselves completely, we shall be filled once more so that we may renew life, and infuse the world with our laughter which is the sweetest of prayers. For it is the power of our joy that transforms all the world and frees the energies that are trapped within our lives.
